Whilst David Guetta enjoys the fame of being the hottest DJ around, there is someone new in town ready to take the spotlight. Clinton Sparks, big time DJ/producer recently released his latest mixtape My Awesome Mixtape which contains an instant club banger. He has teamed up with drunk duo LMFAO and the ever so amazing JoJo for the track It Sucks To Be You.
You might think that this isn’t so different from the whole Usher/Enrique era, but it benefits from a fight pumping choral line – I Bet It Suck To Be You! which demands everyone’s attention at the club. Normally anything to do with LMFAO is awful, but their verse is just bearable enough to work on this one.
Almost 4 years of nothing, then we have a single demo and a feature from JoJo all at the same time! Too much too take in. And, of course even the fact that she features instinctively lets you know that this is going to good. Her verse takes this club banger to the next level with ferocious lyrics “Boy your shit out of luck, You’re gon’ be sleeping alone” .
It might be David Guetta’s Where Them Girls At getting the new club anthem crown this summer, but we all know that Clinton Sparks comes out as the winner here.
